I stayed for a week at this fantastic hotel while exploring the city, and I couldn’t be happier. The warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything I needed, including a HEPA air cleaner that was a lifesaver for my allergies. The central location was perfect for walking to nearby attractions, and the attention to detail was really good with amenities like complimentary snacks and a pillow menu.
Couldn't recommend more this hotel.

The breakfast could use a greater variety of fresh fruit options.

Marvellous and stunning location, within walking distance of everywhere. Exceptionally comfortable bed, good size bathroom and central heating, multi-channel TV and a refrigerator in the room. Staff was welcoming, and facilities were excellent here.

I was appalled by the lack of proper service. On multiple mornings, breakfast was poorly supplied. We didn't even receive basic items like bread or juice! One staff member, Sumit, had an rude attitude when I requested to use my breakfast credit. After spending $800 for two nights, being treated like that is completely unacceptable.

The best and worst parts
From a warm birthday greeting upon arrival to excellent room service. The Luxe Twin Room was spacious, clean, and featured great amenities like an Alexa and kitchen essentials.
Despite high standards, I faced disappointing service when staff didn't assist with luggage. The breakfast was limited for the price, and one staff member had a less than pleasant attitude when I inquired about a drink.

Accommodating staff quickly provided us with an accessible king room, and the spacious shower area was a welcome feature. The location made it easy to explore the city. Appreciated the complimentary laundry facilities and the homemade biscuits served in the lobby. Only downside was occasional noise from the hallway during the night, and the restaurant had limited hours, resulting in some inconvenience.

The location was perfect for exploring Christchurch with my family. We enjoyed visiting the beautiful Botanic Gardens, just a short stroll away. The room was spacious and perfect for our needs, particularly since we traveled with a newborn.
My wife says that a play area for little ones would have been great.
